...the 2016 Wedding Season is in full swing!
...experience all of the creativity and unique styles of every bride this year here...
By far the most unique wedding we have had and I couldn't be more excited to share it! This bride's impeccable style and attention to detail made for an unbelievable day. And the beautiful sunshine and perfect weather definitely didn't hurt!
This one was all about new, creative and unique ingredients for the perfect day. Our first outdoor ceremony of the season went off without a hitch and was incredible and so special! The happy couple exchanged vows among friends and family beneath a chandelier that we hung from the pergola. This piece will be added to their home and will be a great memory of this special moment! I am so excited about the table arrangement that consisted of round and rectangular tables that created a creative new setup. Guests were surprised with a gorgeous flower wall at the entrance of the room which gave them a warm welcome and preview of all of the beautiful things to come! The tables were adorned with runners of gold glitter and greenery, candles and beautiful flower arrangements.
And to top it all off- Dueling Pianos! Black & Whyte Dueling Pianos provided a night full of entertainment for the guests and they had a wonderful time!

The fun continued into July as we celebrated with Shannon & Brandon! This sweet, fun-loving and organized couple had a wonderful celebration and one fun night that ended with a sparkler exit as guests cheered on the happy couple as they left the dance and hopped in the limo! These centerpieces were gorgeous and the white linens and black napkins were a great compliment to the pink accents.
Cici Events provided ceiling draping and dressed up the head table with silver sequined linens and chair covers to accent the bridal party and their fun personalities! The evening consistent of great toasts and speeches by family and friends as well as a special message from the bride & groom followed by a classic cake cutting that ended with a couple of sneaky moves to smash cake into eachother's faces!

Peach is the new pink! What a beautiful way to kick off the summer of weddings with this unique design. This color is one of my favorites! The colors were a perfect fit for mid-June wedding. The bride's favorite treat is candy and she definitely made it known with this cute candy bar!
One of my favorite new decorations this year is the crystal pillars hanging behind the bride and groom at the head table! There were 3 here to dress up the center of the head table. The draping and uplights added to the fun. The guests had a great night celebrating and enjoying candy, cupcakes and pink colored punch too!

I can't begin to explain what a special celebration this was for Rebecca & Dave who celebrated their marriage and Irish heritage on St. Patrick's Day with this amazingly creative pub-style cocktail and hors d'oevure reception!
From the food to the punch and the beer, everything was on theme and green! The newlyweds were announced and entered the room filled with their closest friends & family accompanied by a bag piper!
Lori with Illuminations by Cole provided the bride & groom with black floor-length linens and emerald green table runners for the tables, black spandex linens for the cocktail tables, green up-lights inside the ballroom & outside on the deck and, my personal favorite...cafe lighting throughout the entire ballroom!

Thank you to Noah with Beautiful Day DJ's for providing the sound system...sound system for what? Oh, the amazingly talented dancers from Rince na Chroi Irish Dance School accompanied by Richard Langer, Bag Piper!
It was an amazing performance and so unique!

let's not forget about all of the beautiful weddings from 2015 to adore...
Can you say stylish and beautiful?
I am in love with the creativity of this wedding. Kristen & Dan's wedding this August is one worth pinning!
Linen Effects provided these beautiful damask floor length linens and satin napkins! Which fit oh so perfectly with flowers provided by Jean from Violet's Flowers! Mason jars and fresh flower petals lining the aisle were the perfect addition to an already beautiful ceremony.
One of my favorite head table arrangements is the harvest table and is perfect for larger wedding parties! The lovely arrangement of greenery along the white linens looked so classy and elegant.
And how adorable is this Pinterest perfect cupcake display from Dorothy Anne Bakery?!
Congratulations Kristen & Dan!

First, I want to thank Martha & Keedan for allowing us to shoot our Forever Bride video during their wedding day! It was so fun and they were the perfect couple for this! Stayed tuned to see the lovely video shoot featuring these two!...
We had the pleasure of working with two of the sweetest people and their loving families this mid-August Friday!
Martha and Keedan showed their fun-loving personalities by putting their bridal party in rainbow colors! Each couple had a different color matched with black bridesmaids dresses. So cute and fun!
Muddy Paws Cheesecakes provided the most adorable display of single serve mini cheesecakes atop platters that Martha and her mom brought in! Ceiling draping provided by Illuminations by Cole and beautiful flowers from Bachmann's certainly tied it all together to create this fun palette or colors!
We could not be more excited for you!
Congratulations Martha and Keedan!

So many beautful weddings to be seen in July! Let's start with this one...Pretty and pink!
I absolutely love this bride's style. The room was filled with beautiful pops of light and bright pink. Linen effects provided floor length linens for all of the tables and white paper lanterns for the ceiling. Add in her lovely taste in flowers provided by...and it was gorgeous! Simply elegant!
The ceremony was moving and heartfelt as the couple stood with their kids beside them and talked about their lives together!
The bride and groom treated their guests to a Italian inspired experience. Guests were treated with specialty cocktails and mini hors d'oeuvres prior to the ceremony passed to them by our staff as they arrived to see the beautiful room.
Chef attended customized pasta stations followed for dinner. Preludes to dinner included a customized Italian salad, olives and artisan bread served with olive oil and Parmesan cheese at each table to complete the experience.
Congratulations Paige & Tim!

I can't believe it's already June! Let's keep it going with the beautiful things our brides have come up with....
Are you ready for this one? When Chris and Sarah told me about their plans for a fun reception style wedding I was excited to see what they had I mind. It's so fun for us to see couples try fun new things in our space and this was overall so different and awesome! Where do I begin? It was a super fun experience for the guests as they entered the ballroom and were greeted with Chris's 3-D Dragon groom's cake. Yes! A dragon! Walking through the ballroom they saw a beautiful combination of mint and light grey linens accented with white spandex chair covers. Simple and elegant candles on each table with picture frames of their love story were added to each table. These two are so fun and that's exactly how they wanted their guests to feel!
To create a flowing and fun environment these two chose to have food stations throughout the room! And per special request from the bride...check out the grilled cheese and tomato basil soup shooters our chefs made for her!!! So fun! For even more fun- they brought in lounge furniture and set it up under the TV mounted in the Founder's Room where guests could kick back, relax and watch their memory slideshow of pictures...and when they got up, of course, they couldn't miss taking a pass through the Photobooth set up back there as well! Oh and how about this! A bar style head table with bar stools! Event Lab secured extended legs to our tables to create this harvest table-like setup in the center of the room. It made way for the dance floor in the corner by the windows! So cool so see the dance floor is a new place- can't wait to see it move around the room with your visions!
Linens and chair covers, furniture, flowers and centerpieces a provided by Event Lab. Twin Cities Photobooth.
Congrats Sarah & Chris!
Moving into the end of May, Lisa and Josh had the perfect day for an outdoor wedding....
Lisa's classic and cute style was beautiful. Everyone commented on how perfectly the plum colored linens accented the ballroom. I'm crazy about the cupcake table! Can you say Pinterest worthy...with twinkle lights backlighting the plum linens and the variety of colors and flavors!
And what a cool accent to put the distressed white lanterns on the deck. It's the perfect wedding details that becomes future home decor! Great idea and super special. Floor length linens were provided by Midway Party Rental in St. Paul. Flowers provided by Dawn with Apple Blossom. Olympic Hills provided ivory napkins. Delicious cupcakes and gluten free cupcakes provided by the one and only, Buttercream.
Congratulations Lisa and Josh!

The love continued with our first outdoor ceremony of the summer held on Saturday, May 23rd...
These two love birds could not have been more adorable and so was their wedding with pops of light blue throughout a room filled with handcrafted wooden pieces made by the groom himself. Their love was self evident radiating from this couple who has spent the majority of wedding planning long distance away at school!
The late afternoon ceremony was beautiful and uninterrupted by rain. Just a few sprinkles in the morning lead to a beautiful afternoon for pictures by the pond and willow tree. The couple wrote their own vows and tied the knot before 200 of their closest friends and family. The aisle was lined with flower holders all hand crafted by the groom. Inside the room it was magical! With ceiling draping from the center of the room it looked like a star burst. Lori with illuminations did an amazing job. She also decorated the head table and cake table with white light back-lighting.
And getting these two to kiss was going to take more than a click on your glass! They set up a mini putting green on the dance floor for guests to sink a ball if they wanted to see a kiss!
A special place mat with their love story was placed at each place setting, surrounded by whimsical blue flowers and lights.
We were in awe of the amazing piece that Josh created for their dessert display that will forever adorn their home as a symbol of their special day.
Elements included...
Ivory linens, napkins and chair covers from Olympic Hills, cupcakes and cake from Coborns, up lighting provided by Midwest sound, and ceiling decor and back-lighting provided by Illuminations by Cole.
Congratulations Trisha & Joshua!

Wedding season! It's here and we are so excited to see all of the beautiful designs and decor each bride will bring into our space. Your wedding decor is a reflection of your personal style and personality and tells the story of your love!
This was nothing but 100% accurate with our first wedding held at Olympic Hills on Saturday April 18th when we had the honor of hosting Sarah and Jason's wedding reception following what we heard was a BEAUTIFUL ceremony!
Get ready for tons of awesome ideas from this first bride!!! This page is all about decor and exciting ideas!...
The lovely bride and groom have been together since 2007! Pictures of their love from then until now decorated the room sharing their love story with all of their guests.
A special twist on the traditional guest book...they asked friends and family to write letters for the bride and groom for advice as they start this amazing chapter in their life together!
And in case you missed it-the brides favorite color...PINK! I absolutely love pink and was so excited to see how beautifully the new wallpaper and our ivory linens and napkins collaborated with the pink. The room welcomes bright and rich colors especially against the dark wood floors. And did it ever!
Let's for forget the dessert! Perfect way to tie your theme together is in your dessert table- right front and center to give guests a bright welcome to the night! Hot pink cupcakes? Yes! They made a statement and looked delicious!
With a pop of black in the pink and black Tiffany & Co.-like favor boxes and fabric squares on the tables to add another touch of class!
The elegance continued throughout the room as their centerpieces consisted of cylinder vases with floating candles, waterproof LED lights in the bottom held down by marbles and PINK roses!
Hats off to Jason and his wedding party for completing the set up the morning of the wedding- it was perfect!
And to "tie" it all together- hot pink satin sashes wrapped in bows around our ivory chair covers took it to the next level!
And last but certainly not least...my favorite element... the head table! A favorite, but rarely seen head table arrangement...the harvest table perfect to fit the 17 person bridal party. It's great for seating couples next to one another and allowing everyone to see and talk to each other. The bride and groom are at the head of the table still able to look out and see all of their lovely guests.
Elements included...
Flowers from Bachmanns, Cupcakes Lunds and Byerlys Catering, Olympic Hills' table numbers, square mirrors and ivory chair covers...
Beautiful, classy and cute all around! Congratulations Sarah and Jason!
